Located directly on the Mast Hope Brook, Promiseland has the warmth and character of a rustic but modern cabin. Available spring, summer and fall. A private winding drive leads to the cabin. It is ideal for those that like a true feeling of escape and privacy. The sound of the brook below puts one at ease and the view from the screened porch has been described as similar to being in a tree house. Upon entering there is a living/dining space. There is a stone fireplace with a Norwegian wood-stove. A second floor loft with vaulted ceiling and queen sized bed provides a comfortable sleeping area. Large windows in the loft afford a view of the brook. Off the main room there is a small bath with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size appliances. The screened porch gives added outdoor space and continues to a deck and lawn space that includes and campfire pit and grill. The Promiseland cabin is ideal for a couple. Although Promiseland stays cool in the summer it does have window air-conditioning if needed. When additional space is needed a studio sits a hundred yards away and is available upon request. The studio has it's own kitchenette, bathroom and sleeping area for two (a queen bed and a twin size). Great for teenagers or another couple.
