Promiseland has a wonderful location on the Mast Hope Brook and is available all four-seasons. The private winding drive to the cabins ends at a footbridge. The footbridge is a special place for many guests. We have had marriages, engagements and overall special moments on that bridge. However, besides the footbridge you can now drive across a newly constructed bridge directly to the Promiseland cabin. It is ideal for those that like a true feeling of escape and privacy. The sound of the brook below puts one at ease and the view from the screened porch has been described as similar to being in a tree house. Upon entering there is a living/dining space. There is a stone fireplace with a Norwegian wood-stove. A second floor loft with vaulted ceiling and queen sized bed provides a comfortable sleeping area. Large windows in the loft afford a view of the brook. Off the main room there is a small bath with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size appliances. The screened porch is made comfortable with a Hatteras hammock, dining table and benches. The Promiseland cabin is ideal for a couple. Although Promiseland stays cool in the summer it does have window air-conditioning if needed. There is a TV/VCR/ DVD player and basic TV cable. The new addition is the deck and hot tub. When additional space is needed a studio sits hundred yards away and is available upon request. The studio has it's own kitchenette, bathroom and sleeping area for two (a fullsize bed and a twin size). Great for teenagers or another couple. Available spring, summer and fall for an additional charge.

 Just came to relax! This was our second visit to Sylvania- but our first time staying at Promiseland- we loved it. The highlight was the waterfall off the blue trail.
